The Awkward Handwave

The awkward hadwave is a gaze-enabled experience, combining the awkwardness of trying to meet up with someone you’ve never seen before with the discomfort of being stared at. Players take on the role of a recent graduate who must navigate uncomfortable social settings!

This demo was created over the course of two days for Global Game Jam 2017 utilizing the Tobii eye tracker. My contribution to the project included the design, writing and audio elements; initial concept as well as implementation of front-end menus, dialog system and core gameplay.
